EAPCA slams European Parliament resolution on Azerbaijan as biased
The Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council of Azerbaijanis (EAPCA) has described a resolution adopted by the European Parliament on December 18, 2025, regarding Azerbaijan as far removed from objectivity and not reflecting reality.
A statement signed by EAPCA Secretary General Sahil Gasimov said that the ideas set out in the document are not based on legal facts and reflect a selective, politicised approach, a local outlet reports.
EAPCA, a transnational lobbying organisation operating within the Euro-Atlantic space, called on the European Parliament to respect the norms of international law and to adhere to an appropriate and balanced approach in its activities.
The EAPCA statement was sent to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas.
The Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council of Azerbaijanis (EAPCA) is a transnational lobbying and diaspora organisation established to represent and advocate for Azerbaijani interests within the Euro-Atlantic region. It was founded in Brussels in February 2024 by Azerbaijani diaspora groups and leaders active in Europe to coordinate political advocacy and public diplomacy efforts across Western countries.
