Azerbaijan, Costa Rica discuss strengthening inter-parliamentary ties PHOTO

Azerbaijan and Costa Rica have discussed ways to strengthen inter-parliamentary relations and parliamentary diplomacy, according to Azerbaijan’s diplomatic mission in Costa Rica.

The issue was discussed during a meeting between Azerbaijani Ambassador to Costa Rica Seymur Fataliyev and José Miguel Villalobos, Chairman of the Commission on International Relations and Foreign Trade of Costa Rica’s Legislative Assembly, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

The sides emphasised the importance of further developing parliamentary ties between the two countries and expanding cooperation through parliamentary diplomacy.

Fataliyev also met with Costa Rican Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Peñaranda. The officials exchanged views on prospects for developing bilateral relations and current issues on the bilateral agenda.
