Drone attack hits Ozon warehouse in Russia’s Orenburg region
More than 300 employees were evacuated from an Ozon logistics center in Russia’s Orenburg region following a drone attack, the company said in a statement.
According to Orenburg Mayor Albert Yumadilov, several drones were shot down over the special economic zone where industrial facilities are located. Debris fell onto the territory of the marketplace’s warehouse.
A fire broke out at the facility and was extinguished by personnel from the Russian Emergencies Ministry. No casualties have been reported, according to preliminary information.
The warehouse has suspended operations, and the products have been removed from the marketplace’s listings. “Logistics routes to and from the affected warehouse have already been canceled and will be redistributed among other facilities,” the company noted.
