On December 22, a delegation led by the Vice-President of Türkiye, Cevdet Yılmaz, visited the Martyrs’ Lane in Baku, honouring those who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s freedom and independence.
The delegation laid flowers at the graves of the nation’s heroic sons and daughters and placed a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The visit also included a stop at the memorial dedicated to Turkish soldiers who fell during the liberation of Baku from Bolshevik-Dashnak forces in 1918. Wreaths and bouquets were laid in their memory.
