Azerbaijan signs protocol with Honduras in WTO accession process PHOTO
Azerbaijan has signed a bilateral protocol with Honduras as part of its ongoing process to join the World Trade Organisation (WTO), the country’s permanent mission to the United Nations in Geneva has announced.
The agreement was signed by Azerbaijan’s Permanent Representative, Galib Israfilov, and Honduras’s ambassador to the WTO, Castillo Dacio, Caliber.Az reports.

Honduras is the seventh country with which Azerbaijan has concluded accession negotiations. Previous protocols were signed with Türkiye in 2007, Oman and the United Arab Emirates in 2008, Georgia in 2010, Kyrgyzstan in 2012, and Japan in 2024.
Azerbaijan first submitted its WTO membership application in 1997.
