Chairperson of Azerbaijan’s Parliament Sahiba Gafarova and Vice‑President of Türkiye Cevdet Yilmaz met in Baku to strengthen ties between their countries and promote broader regional cooperation.
Posting on social media platform X, Yilmaz said the discussions covered the foundations of bilateral relations under the “One Nation, Two States” principle, regional developments and inter‑parliamentary cooperation, Caliber.Az reports.
He added that among the key topics were Azerbaijan’s support in preparations for the COP31 climate conference, scheduled to be hosted in Antalya in 2026, multilateral cooperation within the Turkic world, and mechanisms to enhance regional peace and stability.
