Azerbaijani, Turkish top officials meet to discuss regional issues PHOTO

Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, received Türkiye’s Deputy Foreign Minister Yasin Ekrem Serim, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on X, Caliber.Az reports.

“As part of the visit to Azerbaijan, Deputy Minister Yasin Ekrem Serim was received by the Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev. Regional issues were discussed at the meeting,” the ministry said.

As part of his visit, Yasin Ekrem Serim also had a meeting with Turkish investors and businessmen at the Turkish embassy in Azerbaijan.

"Our Deputy Minister Yasin Ekrem Serim met with Turkish investors and businessmen in Azerbaijan at our embassy in Baku. During the meeting, they jointly evaluated steps that could further increase mutual investment and trade in the future. He answered the businessmen's questions and discussed with them problems and ways to solve them," the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.
