Envoy hopes for expansion of Azerbaijani-Japanese business ties

Japan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Junichi Wada has said he hopes for the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the construction sector.

The diplomat made the remarks at the conference "Architectural Heritage: Modern and Future Trends" held by the Public Association "Association of Construction Manufacturers of Azerbaijan" on the occasion of World Architecture Day (October 2), Report informs.

He noted that there is extensive cooperation between Azerbaijan and Japan in several fields.

"Earthquakes are frequent in Japan, so modern technologies are applied in the field of construction. The Japanese experience is presented here today. I hope that based on the results of the event, cooperation between companies will be established and business relations will develop. We support this cooperation," the ambassador said.

The conference is attended by representatives of construction companies of the two countries.
