Erdogan's visit to Iran kicks off PHOTO

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Iran has begun.

The seventh meeting of the Türkiye-Iran High-level Cooperation Council and the trilateral meeting of the leaders of Türkiye-Russia-Iran in the Astana format will be held within the framework of the visit, Baku-based APA news agency's Tehran bureau reports.

The Turkish president is accompanied by National Defence Minister Hulusi Akar, Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Finance and Treasury Minister Nuraddin Nebati, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Donmez, Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Kalin and other dignitaries.

It should be noted that the Russian president will also take part in the summit.
