First Azerbaijan International Investment Forum kicks off in Baku PHOTO

The inaugural Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2025) opened today in Baku, bringing together government officials, business leaders, and international investors.

Organised by the Ministry of Economy and the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), the two-day forum provides a platform to explore investment opportunities in countries situated at the strategic crossroads of East and West, and to shape the future of global trade and sustainable supply chains, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

During the opening session, Shahmar Movsumov, Head of the Department for Economic Affairs and Innovation Policy at the Presidential Administration, read a message from President Ilham Aliyev to the forum participants.

The forum will feature discussions on regional cooperation and investment prospects across sectors including energy, transport, industry, agriculture, digital development, healthcare, and real estate. Several memorandums of understanding are expected to be signed over the course of the event.

AIIF 2025 will conclude on September 23.
