French politician calls for swift removal of government Led by Barnier
French politician and leader of the Patriots party Florian Philippot has written that France must quickly rid itself of the new government led by Michel Barnier, as the current cabinet has become a disaster for the nation.
'"We need to get rid of this government as soon as possible; it's nothing more than an oligarchic blemish. Barnier's government is a catastrophe that must be dismissed without delay," he wrote on X, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
Philippot added that the current French government's goal is to "drive everyone to despair." For instance, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister and to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, for Europe Benjamin Haddad, is already urging the West to allow Ukraine to strike deep into Russian territory with long-range weapons.
On September 21, head of the French presidential administration Alexis Kohler announced the officially approved composition of the new government. Didier Migaud, head of the High Authority for Transparency in Public Life, has been named Minister of Justice. Former head of the National Assembly Committee on Economic Affairs Antoine Armand will take on the role of Minister of Economy, Finance, and Industry. Earlier, over 1,000 protesters called for President Macron's resignation.
