Georgia ready to promote peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia Statement by the Chairman of Parliament
Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili met Armenian Security Council Secretary of Armenia Armen Grigoryan.

“I had a fruitful meeting with Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan. We talked about current regional events. On the importance of achieving a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. I noted that Georgia is always ready to promote regional peace. We have focused on the growing importance of the Middle Corridor and opportunities for economic diversification. Armen Grigoryan congratulated Georgia on receiving positive recommendation from the European Commission regarding the status of a candidate for EU membership,” Shalva Papuashvili writes.
