Germany to announce delivery of Taurus missiles to Kyiv in near future

The German government intends to announce deliveries of long-range Taurus cruise missiles to Kyiv "in the near future".

The Federal Chancellor's Office is currently working out the issue of transferring the missiles with its most important allies, primarily the United States, according to the news portal t-online, citing sources in the ruling coalition in Germany.

So far, the German authorities have rejected the possibility of providing Kyiv with Taurus, the range of which reaches 500 kilometres.

According to t-online, the German Air Force Command has given the green light to supply missiles.
