Iran claims possession of secret, more powerful weapons former official says
Former secretary of the Development and Equipment Commission of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Ebrahim Rostami has said that Iran possesses secret and more powerful weapons than nuclear arms.
"I openly declare that Iran has much more powerful weapons than nuclear weapons," the former secretary said, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.
Rostami added that Tehran has developed "vast secret capabilities" in the field of armaments over the past decade, achieving this independently.
On October 13, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Iran is fully prepared for a potential large-scale war in the Middle East, but it is actively seeking de-escalation and peace.
He was speaking in Baghdad, where he arrived on October 13 for talks with Iraqi officials ahead of an anticipated Israeli attack in response to Iran's October 1 missile barrage targeting Israel.
Araghchi also said on social media platform X that there would be “no red lines” in defending Iran’s people and interests.
