Israel eliminates dozens of militants in Lebanon, Gaza
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has announced the elimination of numerous militants in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.
Israeli forces carried out operations that resulted in the destruction of terrorists, military infrastructure, and weapon depots, Caliber.Az reports, citing the message posted on the IDF website.
"Over the past 24 hours, IDF soldiers have eliminated dozens of terrorists and destroyed terrorist infrastructure, including weapon depots in Jabalia area in northern Gaza. Operations are also ongoing in Beit Lahiya and the vicinity of Rafah in the south, where military resources and militants are being targeted," the message says.
The Israeli Air Force carried out strikes on "numerous terrorist targets in Lebanon," hitting ammunition depots, launchers, and rocket-launching sites.
Earlier, the IDF intensified the operations in the northern Gaza Strip, where around 50 Hamas militants were killed and significant military infrastructure was destroyed. The IDF continues to carry out targeted strikes against Hamas positions in these regions.
In addition to these strikes, several Hamas militants were neutralized in the Rafah neighbourhood, located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. This operation is part of Israel’s broader strategy to dismantle Hamas’ military capabilities across Gaza.
