Israel suspends hostilities in Jabalia camp area For food delivery and evacuation of citizens
The Israel Defense Forces announced a temporary cessation of hostilities in the area of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip for four hours.
The corresponding statement was made by the press secretary of the Israeli army, Avichai Edri, TASS reports.
“From 10:00 to 14:00, hostilities will be temporarily suspended for humanitarian purposes in the Jabalia area for the delivery of food and the evacuation of the population,” he wrote on the social network X (formerly Twitter) in Arabic.
Edry also said that the humanitarian corridor for the evacuation of residents of the northern regions of the Gaza Strip will again operate from 9:00 to 16:00 local time. The route will run from the Al-Shifa hospital along the Salah ed-Din road to the south of the enclave.
Earlier, Israeli Defense Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari reported that the Israeli military would “provide the necessary assistance” on November 12 to evacuate children from the pediatric ward of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza.
