Zelenskyy: No sign of Russia preparing to end war VIDEO
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on August 13 that there are currently no indications that Russia is ready to end its war in Ukraine, calling for sustained international pressure to achieve a fair peace.
“At present, there is no sign that the Russians are preparing to end the war,” he wrote in a post on X, noting that more than 30 discussions and consultations with global partners have taken place recently focused on finding solutions for a ceasefire, Caliber.Az reports.
Over the past few days, there have been more than thirty conversations and consultations with partners. Different parts of the world, different perspectives, but shared positions.

“This war must be ended. Pressure must be exerted on Russia for the sake of a just peace. Ukraine’s and our partners’ experience must be used to prevent deception by Russia,” the Ukrainian president wrote.
He expressed gratitude to all countries and organisations assisting Ukraine.
“Our coordinated efforts and joint actions – of Ukraine, the United States, Europe, and all countries that seek peace – can definitely compel Russia to make peace,” he added.
Zelenskyy is set to travel to Berlin, Germany, on August 13, where he will participate in a video conference hosted by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. The meeting will include President Donald Trump, leaders from Germany, Finland, France, Britain, Italy, Poland, the European Union, and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, ahead of the highly anticipated summit between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
