Israeli Air Force targets Hezbollah weapons depots, facilities in Lebanon
The Israeli Air Force attacked Hezbollah weapons depots located in the territory of Lebanon.
“During the night [of August 20 to 21], Israeli Air Force fighter jets struck Hezbollah weapons depots in the Bekaa region of Lebanon. After the strikes, a secondary detonation was detected, indicating the presence of a large number of weapons at the targeted sites,” Caliber.Az quotes the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) press service as saying.
The press service further said, “In addition, the strikes targeted a compound used by Hezbollah's air defence system and posed a threat to Israeli Air Force aircraft.”
“Following a rocket attack on the Yaara locality area on Tuesday [August 20], the Israeli Air Force struck a Hezbollah launcher from which the projectiles were fired, in the Abu Chacha area. The Israeli Air Force also struck a Hezbollah terrorist in the Wadi Hamul area in southern Lebanon. The Israeli Air Force also hit Hezbollah military facilities in the areas of Aita al-Shab, Ramya and Talusa in southern Lebanon,” the press service added.
