Germany delivers additional leopard tanks, anti-aircraft systems to Ukraine
Germany has sent 22 more Leopard 1A5 tanks to Ukraine, the German government said.
This shipment is part of ongoing military support aimed at bolstering Ukraine's defence capabilities amid its conflict with Russia, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
Along with the tanks, three Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft launchers were also included in the transfer.
In a related development, Ukraine is pursuing the acquisition of 12 AH-1Z Viper attack helicopters, originally produced for Pakistan but never delivered due to a US decision to cut military aid to the country in early 2018.
