Pakistan PM praises Trump’s "bold leadership" in talks with US envoy
Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has praised the leadership of U.S. President Donald J. Trump, saying his “bold and decisive leadership” contributed to regional ceasefires during high-level talks with a senior U.S. envoy.
Sharif made the remarks during a meeting with H.E. Massad Boulos, who paid a courtesy call in Islamabad, according to an official statement, Caliber.Az reports.

The Pakistani prime minister conveyed his warm regards to Trump and reflected on what he described as positive past interactions with the U.S. president. He also credited Trump’s leadership with helping secure a ceasefire between Pakistan and India during a period of heightened tensions.
Sharif further praised Trump for his role in facilitating a ceasefire in Lebanon, calling it part of broader efforts that helped reduce regional hostilities.
The two sides also discussed current regional developments, including Pakistan’s diplomatic engagement and what was described as the “historic Islamabad Talks,” as well as broader efforts aimed at maintaining stability and advancing peace initiatives.
