Paris Forum showcases Azerbaijan’s environmental, sustainable development efforts
As part of the Paris Peace Forum, a photo exhibition highlighting Azerbaijan’s natural landscapes, rich biodiversity, and the effects of climate change on the environment—particularly the Caspian Sea—was held in Paris.
The exhibition was organized through a collaboration between the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, the COP29 Presidency, and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in France, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The event drew forum participants, representatives of international organizations, and members of the diplomatic corps.
Mukhtar Babayev, COP29 President and Representative of the President of Azerbaijan on Climate Issues, presented Azerbaijan’s comprehensive initiatives in green development, ecological restoration, and climate diplomacy. He underscored that the country is making an active contribution to global climate action and attaches particular importance to cooperation with international partners in these efforts.
Attendees of the exhibition lauded Azerbaijan’s ongoing efforts to mitigate climate risks, preserve natural ecosystems, and advance the Sustainable Development Goals, recognizing the country’s commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable growth.
