Poland to create troops using drones

Polish Minister of National Defence Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz has said that Poland is creating troops using drones.

“Such a decision was made after conclusions from the Russian-Ukrainian conflict were drawn,” he said, Gazeta.ru reports.

The minister noted that besides unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), there are naval and land UAVs.

Kosiniak-Kamysz added that the issues of using drones, adapting latest technologies were discussed at the meeting with the leadership of the Navy.

Commander of the Polish Territorial Defence Forces Wieslaw Kukula has recently said that Warsaw plans to invest in unmanned technologies, as well as develop its own UAVs based on observations of military operations in Ukraine.
