Russia extends sanctions against UK
Russia has imposed sanctions on 32 representatives of UK think tanks and consulting agencies that pursue anti-Russian policies, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The work on expanding this list will continue, Caliber.Az reports, citing the statement.
“A number of analytical centres, consulting agencies and other structures of similar profile operating in the UK play a notable role in London's hostile efforts,’ the diplomatic ministry said.
In this regard, a decision has been taken to include representatives of a number of such structures in the retaliatory stop-list and to close entry to the Russian Federation for them’.
The published list includes nine structures and 32 employees. It includes the following organisations: Forward Strategy Limited, Institute for Statecraft, Media Diversity Institute, Toro Risk Solutions, Chatham House, Open Knowledge Foundation, Privacy International, Peace Child International, Aga Khan Foundation.
“Work on expanding the Russian stop list in response to London's hostile line will continue,” the Russian Foreign Ministry added.
