Russia transfers weapons, manpower to Syria
Russia is transferring weapons and personnel to the airport in the Qamishli district of Hasakeh province, east of the Euphrates, which is under YPG/PKK terrorist control.
Two Russian military transport aircraft of the Il-76 type landed at the Qamishli airport in the city of Hasakeh, most of which is under the occupation of the YPG/PKK terrorist organisation, Anadolu Agency reports, citing local sources.
In addition to military equipment, there are about 300 Russian servicemen on board military transport planes departing from the Khmeimim military airport.

On June 3, the Russian army introduced the Pantsir-S1 short- and medium-range air defence system into the Qamishli area.
On June 8, two tanks, a radar system, a Tochka-type anti-aircraft installation and eight armoured personnel carriers were delivered to the Tel Tamir base, which is located on the southeastern border of the Operation Source of Peace front.
During these days, an increase in the number of servicemen of the Russian army was recorded in Ain Isa, Tel Tamir, Manbij, Ain al-Arab and Qamishli.
