Trade turnover between Russia and the United States in March of this year increased by one and a half times, to $471 million
Trade between the countries has increased due to the import of Russian uranium into the United States, according to Gazeta.ru.
Earlier, the US State Department said that the United States ban on the import of uranium from the Russian Federation begins on August 12 and extends until January 1, 2028. The department emphasized that the bipartisan law prohibits the import of Russian uranium into the United States until January 1, 2028.
On May 13, US President Joe Biden signed a law banning the import of Russian uranium into the country. The restrictions affected non-irradiated and low-enriched uranium produced on the territory of the Russian Federation or by companies owned by it.
