SOCAR’s 2025 net profit rises 0.8% to $1.74 billion
Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR recorded a net profit of 2.949 billion manats ($1.74 billion) in 2025, up 0.8% from the previous year, according to the company’s consolidated financial statements.
SOCAR’s revenue increased 1.9% year-on-year to 86.309 billion manats ($50.77 billion), while the cost of sales fell 4.7% to 73.702 billion manats ($43.35 billion), Caliber.Az reports.
As a result, gross profit rose 1.7-fold to 12.607 billion manats ($7.42 billion), while operating profit increased 1.8-fold to 5.234 billion manats ($3.08 billion).
General and administrative expenses rose 46% to 3.289 billion manats ($1.94 billion), while other operating expenses increased 31.5% to 2.457 billion manats ($1.45 billion).
SOCAR’s financial expenses increased 29.3% to 2.682 billion manats ($1.58 billion), while income tax payments fell 16.7% to 760 million manats ($447 million).
The company spent 412 million manats ($242 million) on social expenditure in 2025, an increase of 17.4% compared with 2024.
