Trump urges FBI to search Biden's homes
Former US president Donald Trump has said that Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officials need to search the homes of President Joe Biden and the White House amid a story about the discovery of secret documents from the politician's vice presidency.
"When will the FBI search many of Joe Biden's homes, perhaps even the White House?" Trump wrote on his social networking site Truth Social, Gazeta.ru reports.
He drew attention to the fact that the documents discovered have not yet been declassified.
Earlier, CBS News reported that secret documents from when the current US leader was vice president - from 2009 to 2017 - were discovered on the premises of Joe Biden's think-tank, the Biden Penn Centre.
On August 8, 2022, former US president Donald Trump's estate at Mar-a-Lago was also searched. The documents, which the politician voluntarily returned to the US National Archives in May of that year, contained classified information. Investigations into Trump subsequently began.
