Turkish ASELSAN secures multi-million dollar deal with int'l customer

A sales contract worth 18 million 872 thousand 400 dollars was signed between Turkish defence giant ASELSAN and an international customer.

The contract covers defence systems for the use of a large international shipyard, Defense Here informs.

ASELSAN's statement regarding the new contract was published on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).

ASELSAN General Manager Prof. Dr Haluk Görgün used the following statements in his Twitter account regarding the new business relationship:

"We continue our export activities with the trust of our global users behind us. We are proud to represent our country in the seas of the world with our domestic defence systems. Congratulations."

ASELSAN's annual turnover in 2022 increased by 75% compared to 2021 and reached 35.3 billion TL ($1.86 billion).

ASELSAN's net profit increased by 67% compared to the previous year and reached 11.9 billion TL ($626 million). The company's equity-to-assets ratio was 52%.
