Turkish special forces discover terrorists' weapons cache in Iraq PHOTO

Turkish Armed Forces during the search and check activities in the area of the Pençe-Kilit operation in northern Iraq, found and destroyed a large number of weapons and ammunition belonging to PKK terrorists.

Caliber.Az reports that the Turkish Ministry of National Defence announced the taken measures on its Twitter page.

Kahraman Mehmetçiklerimiz; teröristler tarafından kullanılan mağara, sığınak ve barınaklara tek tek girmeye devam ediyor.

Pençe Kilit Operasyonu bölgesinde gerçekleştirilen arama-tarama faaliyetlerinde teröristlere ait çok sayıda mühimmat ele geçirildi.

The following weapons were seized:

- 22 pieces of 60 mm mortar ammunition,

- 1 item of 81-mm mortar ammunition,

- 500 rounds of 12.7 mm ammunition,

- 10,000 rounds of 7.62x54 mm ammunition,

- Other miscellaneous items.
