Ukraine military downs Russian cruise missile in Odessa

Ukrainian air defence forces have shot down a Russian missile over the sea in the country’s Odessa region.

The missile was fired from an aircraft, RBC-Ukraine quotes the "South" Operational Command of Ukraine’s Armed Forces as saying.

“Russian forces launched another missile strike on the Odessa region. A cruise missile was fired from an enemy aircraft, which was accurately shot down by [Ukraine’s] air defence forces over the sea,” the report says.

Odessa has recently been subjected to massive missile attacks. Russian troops launch rockets both from the Black Sea and the territory of the occupied Crimea.
