Ukrainian defence forces destroy Russian Mi-28 helicopter using FPV drone VIDEO
Pilots from the 59th Brigade of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces successfully destroyed a Russian Mi-28 attack helicopter using a First-Person View (FPV) drone, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed.
Announced via social media, the operation marks a significant milestone in Ukraine’s ongoing efforts to leverage innovative drone technology against enemy assets on the battlefield, Caliber.Az reports, citing Ukrainian media.

The video footage shared by Brovdi provides compelling visual evidence of the strike, underscoring the tactical effectiveness of FPV drones in precision targeting.
“The Mi-28 helicopter was destroyed by FPV drone pilots from the 59th Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces,” Brovdi stated, highlighting the growing role of unmanned aerial systems in Ukraine’s defence strategy.
