Russian missile and drone strikes on the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk have damaged property belonging to members of the Azerbaijani community, including the local diaspora leader, according to Azerbaijani media.

According to local media, commercial property of Mubariz Rustamov, head of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Kramatorsk, suffered extensive damage during the latest attack.

A 500-square-metre trading facility owned by Rustamov, along with several vehicles, was completely destroyed in the strikes.

The attacks also left Azerbaijani resident Niyatulla Ismayilov, born in 1960, injured. His home and vehicle sustained severe damage, the report said.

Another Azerbaijani resident, Hasan Mammadov, also had his home damaged in the bombardment.

Kramatorsk, a key city in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region, has come under repeated Russian missile and drone attacks since the start of the war.
