Gold tops $4,250 per ounce for first time since June UPDATED

Gold futures for December delivery on the COMEX exchange surged past $4,250 per troy ounce, reaching their highest level since June 18, 2026, according to market data.
The contract rose as much as 1.88% to $4,264.50 per troy ounce, after earlier gaining 1.56% and breaking through the $4,250 mark, Caliber.Az reports.

Gold futures for December delivery on the Comex exchange climbed above $4,200 per troy ounce for the first time since July 6, 2026, according to trading data.
As of 09:24 Baku time, gold futures were up 1.15% at $4,200.4 per troy ounce, Caliber.Az reports.
By 09:31, the contract had extended its gains, rising 1.19% to $4,201.9 per troy ounce.
