UN Security Council to discuss situation in Ukraine soon
The Permanent Mission of Switzerland has announced that a meeting of the UN Security Council will be held on October 30 to discuss the situation in Ukraine.
"A meeting on the maintenance of peace and security in Ukraine will be held on October 30. This meeting was requested by Ukraine through the support of the US, France, the UK, Japan, South Korea, Slovenia, and Malta," the Permanent Mission of Switzerland, which holds the presidency of the Security Council in October, told journalists, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
On October 31, the Russian delegation to the UN Security Council requested a meeting to discuss the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine and their implications for the prospects of a peaceful resolution to the Ukrainian crisis.
