US ambassador hails Azerbaijan's efforts in rebuilding Fuzuli

US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mark Libby has checked restoration works in Fuzuli.

“We were deeply moved seeing the extent of destruction but also the reconstruction efforts in Fuzuli,” Caliber.Az reports, citing the message of the U.S. Embassy in Baku on social network X.

“The United States has contributed more than $1.5 billion to Azerbaijan since its independence through USAID, US Dept of State’s Political-Military Affairs, Population, Refugees, and Migration Bureau, and many other agencies and international organizations, including more than $250 million specifically to helping IDP communities and more than $38 million in demining support. We remain committed to providing this assistance,” Ambassador Libby said.
