Azerbaijan announces timing for opening of National Park in Karabakh

A new National Park is set to be opened next year in the territories liberated from occupation, aimed at protecting endangered species of flora and fauna.
The announcement was made by Vugar Karimov, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Caliber.Az reports citing local media.
Karimov stated that the National Park will cover parts of the administrative territories of the liberated Shusha, Khojaly, Aghdara and Kalbajar districts.
He also noted that there are currently four state natural reserves in these regions: Arazboyu, Dashalti, Lachin, and Gubadli.
Additionally, Karimov mentioned that a project is underway to restore the operations of the Garagol and Basitchay reserves in the liberated territories.
