US envoy stresses Azerbaijan’s role as regional transport, logistics hub
Azerbaijan has significant potential to serve as a regional transport and logistics hub, according to the US Chargé d’Affaires ad interim in Baku Amy Carlon.
Speaking at a luncheon hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan, Carlon said Baku and Washington are working to expand cooperation in regional connectivity, including in energy, trade, and transit sectors, the US embassy said in a statement, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
She also highlighted growing investment collaboration between the two countries, particularly in areas such as artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, and broader security cooperation.
The event was also attended by US State Department Senior Advisor for Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs Rebecca Neff, as well as Sara Leming from the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA).
