Uzbek minister visits ASAN Service centre PHOTO
A delegation led by Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, has viewed the activity of ASAN Service centre.
Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ulvi Mehdiyev informed the delegation about “ASAN xidmət”, as well as other areas of activity of the state agency, AZERTAC reports.
It was also emphasised that “ASAN xidmət” model is successfully applied in various countries, including Uzbekistan. Currently, 208 service centres are successfully operating in Uzbekistan based on “ASAN xidmət" model.
The sides discussed the prospects for cooperation between the state agency and a specialised institution of Uzbekistan, and reached an agreement on joint activities in the field of startup support.
The delegation got acquainted with the activities of “Bilim Baku” Centre, Innoland Incubation and Acceleration Centre, and ABAD.
Meanwhile, the Uzbek trade house has opened in Baku.
KOBIA Board Chairman Orkhan Mammadov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan Bahrom Ashrafkhanov, Deputy Executive Director of AZPROMO Zohrab Gadirov, MPs and other officials attended the opening ceremony.
