Voting in snap presidential elections takes place in liberated Aghdara and Sugovushan

Voting in the snap presidential elections has begun in the liberated city of Aghdara.

Caliber.Az reports that polling station #59 of Terter-Naftalan-Goranboy constituency #97 has been established in the city.

The polling station, located at the Aghdara City House of Culture, opened at 08:00. A total of 154 voters were registered at the polling station.

Voting is being monitored by local observers.

Voting in the snap presidential election has also begun in the liberated village of Sugovushan in the Aghdara district.

Polling station 58 of Terter-Naftalan-Goranboy constituency #97, located in the Sugovushan secondary school, opened at 08:00.

There are 162 registered voters at the polling station, including residents who returned to the village of Talysh, which was liberated from occupation.

The oldest voter in Sugovushan is 87 years old, and the youngest 18.

The election will be monitored at the polling station by 15 local observers.

The Central Election Commission registered 7 presidential candidates - Ilham Aliyev of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party, self-nominated candidates Zahid Oruj and Fuad Aliyev, Razi Nurullayev of the National Front Party, Fazil Mustafa of the Great Consolidation Party, Elshad Musayev of the Greater Azerbaijan Party, Gudrat Hasanguliyev of the All-Azerbaijan Popular Front Party.
