Zelenskyy holds Supreme Commander-in-Chief Staff meeting
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff on April 25.
“The commanders of operational-strategic groups of troops "Khortitsa", "Tavria", "Odessa", "North" reported on the course of combat operations on the front areas within their responsibility. Each area of Ukraine's defence is important. We do not have the right for Ukraine to have weaknesses," Ukrainska Pravda cites Zelenskyy as saying on Facebook.
The military officials present also discussed the results of yet another meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group at the Ramstein air base.
According to the president, Ukraine and its defence forces are becoming stronger, but the supply of weapons has to be accelerated, as "every day of the delay comes at a cost of the lives of our soldiers".
