Azerbaijan, Dagestan optimistic about development of ties

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov has met Dagestani People's Assembly Chairman Zaur Askenderov.

The confidence was expressed at the meeting that Askenderov's visit would serve the development of Azerbaijan-Dagestan mutually beneficial cooperation, including the interaction between legislative bodies, Azertac reports.

The sides positively assessed the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Dagestan in various spheres.

The views on the prospects for bilateral cooperation were exchanged at the meeting.
