Azerbaijani, UAE leaders hail growing ties in key phone call
On May 8, President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
During the exchange, the two leaders reflected positively on their recent discussions in Abu Dhabi, expressing satisfaction with the outcomes of President Aliyev’s official visit to the UAE, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
They noted with appreciation the steady and successful development of UAE-Azerbaijan relations, grounded in mutual trust, respect, and longstanding friendship. The presidents also highlighted the growing momentum in economic and trade cooperation, which continues to evolve in tandem with the robust political dialogue between their countries.
The conversation also underscored the importance of ongoing reciprocal visits and engagement across diverse sectors, further strengthening bilateral ties.
The two heads of state took the opportunity to exchange views on key issues on both the bilateral and regional agendas.
