Qatar Foreign Ministry: Israel, Hamas truce talks at finish line
The Foreign Ministry of Qatar has stated that the truce talks between Israel and Hamas have reached the finish line.
It added that the details of the agreements will be known later, when the parties deem it necessary, Gazeta.Ru.
Before that, Israeli journalist Barak Ravid, citing a source familiar with the negotiations, said that Israel could release three Palestinian prisoners for each hostage returned by the radical Palestinian movement Hamas.
The situation in the Middle East escalated following the infiltration of thousands of Hamas militants from the Gaza Strip into Israel on October 7, when Hamas announced the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the country was in a state of war.
