The summit will coincide with a regional tour by US. President Donald Trump, who is scheduled to visit Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates from May 13 to 16. This will be Trump’s second overseas trip during his current term.
Trump developed close relations with several Gulf nations, particularly Saudi Arabia, during his previous presidency. The upcoming trip is expected to focus on strengthening political ties and attracting investment into the US economy.
