Musk agrees US debt could reach $50 trillion

US billionaire Elon Musk has endorsed a projection showing the country’s national debt could reach $50 trillion by 2030.

“Accurate graph,” Musk wrote on his social media platform X in response to an image depicting the projected increase in US debt. The post also suggested that such a level of debt could lead to severe economic consequences, Caliber.Az reports.

The US national debt has risen sharply in recent years, increasing from around $20 trillion in 2017 to a record $40 trillion, according to previously reported figures.
