NATO military committee to visit Ukraine in October
The NATO Military Committee is expected to visit Ukraine in October, Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Mykhailo Drapatyi said following a conversation with NATO Military Committee Chairman Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone.
Drapatyi thanked Dragone for his “personal stance and consistent support for Ukraine at the level of the Alliance’s top military leadership," Caliber.Az reports.
He said the planned visit would be the first by the NATO Military Committee to Ukraine in eight years.
“The admiral has visited us three times, has seen the situation on the ground, and this comes across in our conversation. I briefed him on the situation at the front and on our priorities: long-range strikes, flexible infantry tactics, and the robotisation of the front lines,” Drapatyi said.
The two officials also discussed Ukraine’s air defence capabilities and the country’s current military priorities.
