“We must proceed not from hopes, but from concrete facts” Zakharova on Pashinyan’s arrival in the Russian Federation
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova did not comment on a statement of Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov on signals about the participation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in December at the informal traditional meeting of the leaders of the CIS countries and the formal meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in St. Petersburg.
“It seems to me that we should proceed not from hopes, but from specific facts and form a position based on reality. Let’s wait for concrete actions and then we will comment on them,” Zakharova said at a briefing on November 29, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
“Earlier, Russian Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov said “We received a signal from Yerevan that the prime minister is going to come to St. Petersburg at the end of December for an informal meeting (CIS). And to the formal EurAsEC summit.”
