Azerbaijani, Russian deputy premiers mull trade, economy
Azerbaijani and Russian Deputy Prime Ministers Shahin Mustafayev and Alexei Overchuk respectively held a meeting in Moscow.
The two men considered current issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation that are on the agenda of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation (ICEC) between Russia and Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports, citing the press service of the Russian government.
The co-chairs of the ICEC emphasized the positive dynamics of trade development, confirming the efficiency of bilateral cooperation. During the meeting, it was noted that the growth in trade turnover between Russia and Azerbaijan in January - October 2023 amounted to 20 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
The parties confirmed their readiness to continue a constructive dialogue aimed at strengthening Russian-Azerbaijani relations in all areas of cooperation.
