Turkish Super Cup match proposed to be held in Azerbaijan again

A proposal has been received from Azerbaijan to hold the match for the Turkish Super Cup between Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.

In particular, the Azerbaijani side sent a letter to the Turkish Football Federation with another proposal to hold a match in Baku, Azerisport.com reports, citing the Turkish website Fotospor.

Earlier, the match was supposed to take place in Saudi Arabia, but due to the country's authorities, who prohibited players from entering the field wearing T-shirts with the image of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, it did not take place. TFF is also considering options for holding the game in Ankara or Samsun.
