Max Verstappen wants to outperform Lando Norris at Azerbaijan Grand Prix
Belgian-Dutch motorsports racing driver of the Red Bull team Max Verstappen has outlined his primary objective for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
The 26-year-old racer emphasized that his main goal is to finish ahead of McLaren’s Lando Norris, Caliber.Az reports, citing Dutch media.
“This is what is most important now,” Verstappen stated.
Norris is considered Verstappen's main rival this season. With Verstappen leading the championship with 303 points and Norris in second place with 241 points, the competition remains intense.
Verstappen will start the main race at the Baku track from the 6th position, while Norris will begin from 16th. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is set to commence today at 15:00 local time on September 15.
